The Cutting Room Viewer is a plugin designed for “Job Manager.NET” aimed at managing, in real time, all the machines on the shop floor.
Its basic idea is to support companies that want to optimize their production resources by means of a powerfull monitoring tool.
Every company manager knows the benefits given by an effective job management planning policy, expecially for its economic results.
In bundle with Job Manager.NET suite and with a Nesting product, this plugin is a very flexible solution that you can integrate your legacy software(ERP or other management software).

the components of our software architecture are:
- “Job manager” that communicate with your ERP to download the production orders to process and creates the production tickets
- One or more nesting strategies that optimize the material consumption and create the cutting plan.
- The “Cutting room viewer” that supports the production controller to assign the working plans to the various cutting machines available in the shop floor, controls the running tasks and gives a customisable report on the state of production..
A modern client/server architecture allows to easily manage either local and remote factories, supplying the company management and the producion controller with a single access point to all the production process data.

Base functionalities
Job manager gets from the company’s ERP the production orders to process, organizes them in working sessions, according to the criteria set by the production controller.
So, It's possible to sort working plans:
- by material type
- by shape type
- by model
- by article
- by any customizable mix of these elements
Job Manager also outputs a detailed report on material usage, working on any kind of material (sheets, rolls, hides) and managing stock rotation.
It always gives you all the information needed for the execution of the correct task sequence.
The Nesting strategy calculates the best cutting layout, to reduce the consumption of material and the processing time.
Our Nesting strategies are all able to match the constraint posed by the cutting technology, and the material type, taking avantage of the capabilities of the cutting machines and selecting the best positioning scheme.
The Cutting Room Viewer in cooperation with Job Manager supervises the cutting room.
Shows the cutting room map and the operational state of the machines.
The Production controller assigns the production tickets to the machines, by considering their workload and can monitor the productivity of either a single machine or a department or the whole factory.
By means of the Cutting Room viewer, the Production controller can configure the automation level, enabling the automatic execution or manually reorganizing the working queues, for example to stop a machine for maintenance. An graphical description of the operational state of the cutting machines supports all the organisational decisions in a clear and easy way.
